to extravagant, from self directed to staff
directed; whatever your needs, let Education staff
help create a birthday adventure you will always
remember.
Zoo It Yourself Birthday Party
Any time, any day!
$135/members; $210/nonmembers for 10 guests
Extra Guests: $13 each
Want to lead your own safari? Sign up for a Zoo it Yourself Birthday Party and receive a packet containing: 10 admission tickets, 10 invitations, 10 vouchers for a novelty ice cream, and a coupon for a birthday surprise from the gift shop. Please allow 10 days to receive your packet by mail.

Safari Party
$350/member; $450/nonmembers for 20

It’s a jungle in here so join us for a wild adventure and celebration. Package includes up to 20 guests, invitations, admission into the Zoo, birthday cake and ice cream, a game or craft, an up-close animal encounter, trip to feed the fish or goats, and a special gift for the birthday child.
- Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis
- Reservations can be made online with a credit card or by calling 734-7184, Ext. 1501 to make arrangements to mail or deliver a personal check or cash deposit
- A $100 non-refundable deposit is due upon booking
- All members of the party must be paid participants
- Education staff will call and confirm the details of your party the week before the party and final payment is due at that time
- Party reservations are rain or shine, but exception may apply in severe weather at the discretion of the San Antonio staff
- Guests should meet outside the Education Center and enter when the whole group arrives
- Party starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. so have your guests arrive a little early
- Program with the Education Staff lasts for one hour. Your group may remain in the party area for the additional time period, but we suggest that you and your guests enjoy the Zoo
- The Pad Pond area is reserved for your party for a three hour period only. Education staff will begin clean up of the area promptly at 12:00 or 4:00
- All party cancellations and refund requests must be submitted to the San Antonio Zoo Education Department in writing at least ten (10) business days before the party. Please note that the $100 deposit is non-refundable and will be retained upon cancellation
- Food items may be brought into the Zoo
- Balloons, glass containers, plastic drink lids or straws, Styrofoam or alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed into the San Antonio Zoo

Discovery House Birthday Extravaganza
1st to 5th birthdays only

Make your child’s birthday a very special celebration. Enjoy use of the Discovery House, pizza, cake, ice cream, and an
animal presentation during this after

Enchanted Birthday Celebration
$275/members; $375/nonmembers for 20 guests
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this celebration! Bring your birthday person and friends to explore the Zoo at night when the gates are closed, and the animals begin to prowl. Staff will guide you through the Zoo and share interesting facts about the animals before enjoying ice cream and

**ADULTS ONLY ENCHANTED BIRTHDAY **
Bring your own wine and we will provide the cheese at the beginning or make it a “Zoo and Brew” and we’ll bring a wagon of cool drinks as we tour. Email tinytots@sazoo-aq.org or call 734-7184, Ext. 1511 for special pricing and more information.

Beach Blanket Birthday Party

Bring your swim diapers/bathing suit/towel and come spend your birthday enjoying an evening playing in the sand and water of the Tiny Tot Nature Spot Riverbank. We’ll serve you and your guests pizza, cake, ice cream, and party punch before we play animal charades and have a visit by one of our special presentation animals. Package includes 20 guests, invitations, birthday cake, ice cream, pizza, lemonade, and a gift for the birthday child.
